Norway's Johannes Thingnes Boe hit all the targets on the way to victory in the men's biathlon World Cup sprint in Ruhpolding, Germany on Saturday. Boe posted 23 minutes 59.2 seconds on the way to victory over 10 kilometres ahead of German duo Simon Schempp and Arnd Peiffer. Boe finished 34.5 seconds up on Schempp, who was also faultless on the shooting range, and 57.9 seconds ahead of Peiffer, who had one penalty round. Martin Fourcade of France leads overall on 496 points, ahead of Anton Shipulin of Russia on 433 and Emil Hegle Svendsen of Norway on 372. The biathlon World Cup continues in Ruhpolding on Sunday with men's and women's mass start races. | |||||
